Founder is awarded the Australian Financial Review “AI Trailblazer of the Year 2026” for a lifetime contribution to AI and robotics

aKin founder and CEO Liesl Yearsley has been named AI Trailblazer of the Year 2026 by the Australian Financial Review, in recognition of a lifetime contribution to artificial intelligence and robotics.

Liesl has spent her career building AI that people can trust. Before founding aKin, she built an AI company that was acquired by IBM, and she has long argued that AI should be developed ethically and safely.
